Olympiads and school studies are not rivals – they strengthen each other. Here is how to balance both.
Build on your syllabus
Most olympiad questions extend your school topics. Master the NCERT concept first, then push into deeper application.
Set aside focused practice
Just 30–45 minutes of olympiad-style problems, three times a week, is enough to build reasoning skills.
Learn from previous papers
Solve past olympiad papers to understand the pattern and difficulty. Keep a notebook of tricky problems.
Focus on reasoning, not rote
Olympiads reward logic and problem-solving. Practise thinking through problems rather than memorising answers.
