How to Score 95%+ in Class 10 Boards: The Toppers Hub Method

A 20-year-tested routine that has produced hundreds of board toppers
6 July 2026 by

Every year, students ask us the same question: what separates a 95% scorer from an 80% scorer? After 20 years and 10,000+ students, our answer has not changed — it is not intelligence, it is method.

1. NCERT first, everything else later

Board papers are built on NCERT. Read every line, solve every back exercise, and only then move to reference books. Toppers read NCERT three times: once to understand, once to note, once to revise.

2. The 70/30 rule of study time

Spend 30% of your time learning and 70% practising. Writing answers by hand, against the clock, is the single highest-return habit for boards.

3. PYQs are a question paper leak — legally

60-70% of board questions repeat concepts from the last 10 years. Solve chapter-wise previous-year questions after finishing each chapter. Our free PYQ bank is organised exactly this way.

4. Weekly mock tests

From December onward, one full-syllabus mock every week in exam conditions. Evaluation matters more than attempting — every mark lost must become a note in your error notebook.

5. Answer presentation

Underline keywords, draw labelled diagrams, show formula → substitution → answer in numericals. Presentation alone is worth 5-8%.
