What is CA Foundation?

  • Entry-level exam of ICAI — the first step to becoming a Chartered Accountant.
  • Replaced the old CPT; held thrice a year (Jan, May/June, Sept).
  • Register after Class 12; 4-month study period required before attempt.
  • Total 400 marks — four papers of 100 each.

The Four Papers

  • Paper 1: Accounting — subjective, the scoring backbone.
  • Paper 2: Business Laws — subjective, case-based questions.
  • Paper 3: Quantitative Aptitude — objective with negative marking (−0.25).
  • Paper 4: Business Economics — objective with negative marking (−0.25).

Pass Criteria

  • Minimum 40% in each paper AND 50% aggregate overall.
  • Negative marking makes accuracy more important than attempts in Papers 3 & 4.
  • Exemptions are not carried — all four papers in one sitting.

Our 90-Day Plan

  • Days 1–45: complete concepts with daily 2-hour Accounts practice.
  • Days 46–70: chapter tests + ICAI study material questions and RTPs.
  • Days 71–85: 6 full mock tests in exam conditions.
  • Days 86–90: revision of formula bank, law charts and error notebook.
